With the support of Rompetrol, eight new modern playgrounds have been completed and made available to the community in the municipality of Ploieşti, while a ninth recreational space is currently under development.
The projects, developed over a total area of more than 7,500 square meters, contribute to improving the quality of life for families and children by creating safe, modern, and accessible spaces dedicated to recreation and leisure within the community.
The playgrounds are equipped with certified equipment that complies with European safety and quality standards, and include slides, swings, seesaws, and multifunctional play structures adapted to different age groups. All equipment is installed on impact-absorbing rubber surfaces designed to ensure a high level of protection and safety for users.
At the same time, all spaces include equipment dedicated to children with disabilities, promoting equal access to play and recreation for all children. In particular, the playground in Vest Park is an inclusive project, specially designed for children with disabilities, with equipment and infrastructure adapted to their needs.
This initiative continues Rompetrol’s ongoing involvement in projects with a direct impact on local communities. In the period 2022–2023, the company also developed seven additional playgrounds in the municipality of Ploieşti and the commune of Blejoi, contributing to the development of modern spaces dedicated to children and families in the areas where the company operates.
