The Board of Directors of Rompetrol Rafinare decided to appoint Florian Pop to the position of General Manager of the company - the operator of the Petromidia Năvodari and Vega Ploieşti refineries, but also of the only petrochemical division in Romania.

Thus, Florian Pop will replace Felix Crudu-Tesloveanu, who held this position in the period January 2020 – September 2023. He will remain within the KMG International Group, the accumulated experience and expertise being an important factor for the Group's current activities.

Starting from September 30, Florian Pop will continue to implement the basic pillars of the Rompetrol Rafinare company's strategy, by maintaining a positive operational trend, in compliance with all operational safety rules.

Florian Pop joined the company in 2001, the last position held being Director of Development and Services. From this role, he coordinated the project management, budgeting, cost estimation departments and managed the development program of the Petromidia and Vega refineries.
