Rompetrol has been the main partner of the George Enescu Festival and Contest for 12 years

At Rompetrol, September is the month of Enescu and classical music, whether we are talking about the Festival or the Contest.

Scheduled between August 28 and September 26, 2021, the George Enescu International Festival delights the audience with an exceptional artistic program, supported by 3,500 foreign and Romanian artists, for a record duration of 4 weeks.

This year's edition is an anniversary - 140 years since the birth of the Romanian composer, the 25th edition of the Festival, and it is an honor for Rompetrol to continue to be the main partner of the event, to support such a large-scale cultural event, especially in these pandemic times.

Rompetrol and George Enescu are strong brands, which represent and promote Romania's image on an international level, based on values like creativity, national pride, will and determination.

During the Festival, the company introduced a classical music playlist in gas stations and in the Rompetrol Go mobile application that can be downloaded and listened to for free by classical music enthusiasts.

The closing concert on September 26 of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam is presented by Rompetrol, and it includes, among others, 'Pastorale - Fantaisie pour petit orchestre' by George Enescu, a composition that took 118 years to be heard again in concert halls.
