SAP awards the most creative and innovative approaches to Human Resources in CEE HR Innovation Challenge 2017, the organizers announced in a press release sent to AGERPRES.

HR Innovation Challenge is a unique competition for Human Resources (HR) professionals who have developed and implemented creative and innovative initiatives that had a significant business impact.

HR Innovation Challenge is supported by SAP SuccessFactors – the leader in cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) software for talent management, core HR and HR analytics.

The goal of this project is to discover innovation and thought leadership in the most strategic areas of HR, to support talented people and to further develop Human Resources.

Three Romanian companies, namely Orange Romania, Urgent Cargus and KMG International (Rompetrol), were among the finalists for the 2016 edition.

“We are happy to continue the challenge launched last year, which brought valuable experience and real benefits for the participants, and above all to the winner, the Hungarian company Grundfos. Because digital transformation is not only about adopting technology but also about creating a culture of innovation, we at SAP are proud to support specialists and companies that adopt such an approach. I am looking forward to this year's applications,” said Damon O'Neill, Head of SAP SuccessFactors Business Development CEE.

Participants who are ready to share HR best practice, business impact initiative or transformational ‘success story’ can submit application before May 8, 2017.

In addition to gaining recognition by their peers across the region, the participants will have the opportunity to participate in the SuccessConnect event that will be held in London, June 12-14, along with many others experts and HR professionals across Europe.

The winner of the Grand Prize will be awarded a session with Koen Gonnissen, the former coach of Kim Clijsters and an internationally recognized Executive Coach & Trainer, who will deliver an onsite session to the entire HR team whose project will be considered to be the best.

Last year, Grundfos Hungary one of the world's leading pump manufacturers won the Main Prize and the project led by Csenge Gelbmann and Development Manager was selected by the jury as the most innovative initiative in Human Resources.

During the registration process, the applicant will be able to select one of the four categories for his/ her project: HR Transformation, Development and Succession, Learning Initiatives that Impact Your Business, Recruiting Top Talent.

The applications will be evaluated by an Expert Panel composed of the following professionals: Zdravka Demeter Bubalo, Group HR Vice President, MOL Hungary; Kathrin Haag, Head of HR SAP MEE; Tim Ringo, Regional Vice President, SAP SuccessFactors VAT, EMEA and MEE; Marta Szlachcic, HR Director, PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna; and Simona Popovici, Group HR Director, KMG International. When reviewing the projects, the judges will focus particularly on innovation and creativity in the HR approach, proof of positive business impact directly related to the initiative or process that have entered for the competition and how difficult and significant was the area addressed by the HR initiative.
