ROMPETROL RAFINARE S.A., hereinafter referred to as the Beneficiary, tax identification number 1860712, registered with the Trade Register under no. J1991000534130, with its registered office in the Town of Năvodari, 215 Năvodari Boulevard, Constanța County, Romania, announces the launch of the project entitled “Construction of a photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption – Rompetrol Rafinare”, SMIS Code 352708, financed through the Modernisation Fund, Key Programme 1: Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Storage, under the Call “Support for investments in new electricity generation capacities from renewable sources for self-consumption, related to the second call based on a competitive bidding procedure”, Call Code: PFM/527/PFM_P1/NA, in accordance with Financing Agreement no. 1709/10.09.2026.
General objective of the project: To increase electricity generation capacity from renewable sources through the construction by Rompetrol Rafinare S.A. of a photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption, with an installed capacity of 9.4 MW, within the Petromidia industrial platform, thereby contributing to reducing operating costs and the carbon footprint, as well as to achieving the energy transition objectives.
The total value of the Project is RON 44,427,077.33 including VAT, of which RON 36,748,097.00 excluding VAT.
The maximum amount financed through the Modernisation Fund is RON 13,892,834.34.
The amount financed by the Beneficiary is RON 30,534,242.99.
Project location: The investment will be implemented within the Petromidia industrial platform, on land owned by Rompetrol Rafinare S.A., administratively located within the built-up area of Corbu Commune, Constanța County, and identified by Land Registry nos. 101923, 101924, 101925, 101927, 108696 and 101928. The land-use categories are “yards and buildings” and “yards, buildings and arable land”, and the plots form part of the Petromidia industrial platform.
