Because I was given the opportunity to become my best version of me. Also, Rompetrol means the energy of an entire team of professionals. An organization with engaged people, a management system in which all employees collaborate with each other. It's a place for developing creative solutions to complex challenges.

What fuels your drive?

I like what I do and the job fits me. Most of the colleagues are passionate about what they do and we share similar values. I am motivated by complex projects. I am responsible for the implementation of the new Cogeneration Plant, which will provide the necessary electricity, steam and demineralized water for the entire Petromidia Platform and will provide heating for the city of Navodari.

What do you like most about your team?

Professionalism, dedication and active involvement. We are a successful team, because everyone knows their role and objectives and last but not least, we are constantly coming up with proposals for improvement. My team makes me feel professionally fulfilled, and I make sure that their results are recognized. "People work for money, but they give their best for recognition and appreciation."

Which is your biggest achievement in Rompetrol so far?

In 13 years of Rompetrol, I have had many achievements, among which I would mention the following: Building in the Utilities Plant a performance-oriented team; Greening of sludge dumps from the Petromidia Platform; Rompetrol Refinare certification on the ISO 50001 energy efficiency management system.

Which is your key personality trait that helps you overcome hardships and challenges?

Over the years I have approached my responsibilities as if I were the owner of the company. I have learned that if you want to overcome difficult moments you have to think positive, to focus on finding solutions and to make things happen.
