Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu has discussed with representatives of KazMunayGas, CEFC and KazMunayGas International perspectives of collaboration in the field of energy.

 

Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu has reaffirmed the openness of the Romanian Government in front of foreign investments on the occasion of the meeting held today at Victoria Palace with representatives of the Kazakhstan national oil and gas company KazMunayGas and its subsidiary KazMunayGas Internationaland China Energy Company Ltd. (CEFC), futer majority shareholder of KazMunayGas International. 

 

We are quite open for everything meaning investments in Romania, we have already shown it through taken measures and I can assure you that we will preserve the same openness in the future too”, has declared the head of the Government.

 

At their turn, representatives of investors from Kazakhstan and China have appreciated the positive approach of the Government of Romania and expressed their interest in developing the cooperation in a number of fields, including energy, infrastructure, as well as finance and banking. KazMunayGas representatives have also presented company’s development plans in our country and in the region.     

 

Totally owned KazMunayGas, KazMunayGas International is now present in 11 countries and owns the refineries Petromidia Navodari (the biggets unit of its kind in Romania) and Vega Ploiesti (the oldest operated refinery), as well as fuel retail networks under Rompetrol brand in Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Georgia, France and Spain.
