The Rompetrol Group has proudly supported the fabrication of the largest Romanian flag, a record approved and registered into the World Record Book. The flag was unfolded at Clinceni, measuring a length of 349.42 meters and a width of 226.92 meters. The flag surface measures 79.290 sq. meters. Having Romanian origins, Rompetrol has over 40 years of experience in the petroleum industry, diversifying its activities and operations of refining, petrochemicals, retail, trading and industrial services. Rompetrol supports the image and presence of Romania in 13 countries, over 3 seas – the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea and the Mediterranean Sea and over 3 continents – Europe, Africa and Asia. Rompetrol is currently completely owned by KazMunayGaz – the national petroleum company of Kazakhstan.
