KMG International (Rompetrol) has successfully completed the 26th edition of the “Together We Grow” Traineeship Program, one of the most important initiatives dedicated to training and developing the next generation of specialists for Romania’s energy industry.
The closing ceremony, held at Petromidia, marked the end of two months of training, hands-on experience and professional development for the 100 participants, while also representing the beginning of a new professional chapter for many of them. More than 60% of the trainees were selected to continue their careers within the Group’s member companies.
Over the course of the two-month program, 100 students and graduates from technical universities across Romania had the opportunity to enhance their professional skills through practical experience, applied projects and direct interaction with specialists from KMG International’s member companies.
The program provided participants with direct exposure to the operational and business activities of KMG International companies, as well as the opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired during their academic studies in real working environments.
Through the projects and activities carried out during the traineeship, participants gained first-hand experience with industry-specific processes, technologies and best practices relevant to the energy sector.
The 100 trainees benefited from the support and guidance of more than 60 mentors from the Group’s member companies: Rompetrol Rafinare, Rominserv, Rompetrol Quality Control, Rompetrol Energy, Midia Marine Terminal, Rompetrol Well Services and Rompetrol Downstream.
Through their expertise and professional experience shared throughout the program, the mentors played a key role in transferring knowledge and developing participants’ competencies, while also strengthening collaboration and fostering the exchange of experience between generations of professionals.
Through its Traineeship Program, KMG International (Rompetrol) has contributed to the training and development of more than 2,000 individuals over the years, many of whom have continued their professional careers within the Group’s member companies.
