Incident Successfully Managed at Petromidia

During this morning, an ignition broke out in the Mild Hydrocracking (MHC) unit, which was quickly located. It was extinguished shortly after by the internal intervention service personnel, together with the ISU Dobrogea military firefighters.

No casualties were recorded, and all employees in the facility area safely self-evacuated, following specific procedures for emergency situations. The operational activity of the Petromidia refinery was not affected.

At this time, as a precautionary measure, cooling procedures are being carried out for the unit, the situation being under the control of the intervention forces.
