Rompetrol – KMG International is the main partner of Ciucaş X3 powered by Rompetrol, one of Romania's most renowned mountain running events.
Taking place on September 4–6 in the spectacular Ciucaş Mountains, the event brings together thousands of runners and outdoor enthusiasts, offering challenging courses and unforgettable experiences surrounded by nature.
Ciucaş X3 powered by Rompetrol promotes physical activity as part of a healthy lifestyle that is accessible to everyone, making the competition as inclusive as possible. Participants can choose from five race distances designed for all levels of experience: Babeş Vertical (3.8 km), Cross (8.8 km), Half Marathon (21.6 km), The Ridge (38.5 km), and the Kids Race, dedicated to the youngest runners.
Across its 16 editions, Ciucaş X3 has brought together thousands of runners from Romania and abroad, becoming a landmark event in the country's mountain running calendar. Its spectacular courses, high-quality organization, and the strong involvement of the local community make it a memorable experience for both amateur and elite athletes.
The event also promotes the Ciucaş Mountains and supports the sustainable development of local communities. Each year, in partnership with local authorities, the organizers carry out trail marking and maintenance activities, as well as environmental clean-up initiatives throughout the area.
