For 13 years Rompetrol continues to be a partner of the most prestigious classical music event George Enescu International Competition, which will take place this year at the Romanian Atheneum between September 4-18.
Organized at the highest standards in the field, the cello, violin, piano and composition competition represents a launch platform for future prestigious musicians of the world, and for the promotion of Enescu's compositions among artists and the public.
In 2022, over 100 musicians from 32 countries enrolled the competition, and 34 of them will get to the semi-finals, where they will perform works by the Romanian composer.
During the Competition, the company introduced a classical music playlist in the gas stations and in the Rompetrol Go mobile app, which can be downloaded and listened to for free by classical music aficionados.
