A 14-year partnership for classical music

In 2023, the festival will take place from August 27th to September 24th in five concert halls in Bucharest: Sala Palatului, Ateneul Român, Sala Radio, Auditorium, and Odeon Theater.

Every two years, thousands of musicians, the best orchestras, and artists from around the world delight the audience with their performances at the George Enescu International Festival. A complete cycle of compositions by George Enescu, opera, family concerts, modern and contemporary music, world and Romanian premieres, along with the finest selection of classical, romantic, and baroque music, reveal a truly unique event created with love, generosity, and excellence.

The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, Cameristi della Scala, are just a few of the orchestras that will perform at the 2023 George Enescu International Festival.

We invite you to an extraordinary virtuosity experience with international musicians in Bucharest. The festival program is available here.
